1991 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo

Description

GTO’s are extremely popular cars because of the technology and styling that they had for a car of their age. However they have gotten a name for becoming unreliable at higher kilometers and examples that weren’t given thorough care. Sticking with our high standards, we came across this example that has only 47, 486 km’s on the clock and was in excellent mechanical condition when we inspected it in Japan.

The car is a 1991 May Twin turbo model. Transmission is a 5 Speed and also has the standard  options of electrically adjustable driver’s seat, PAS, Climate control A/C, cruise control, electric mirrors, active aero system (Rear spoiler), electric exhaust silencing valves, etc. The car has not been modified by aftermarket performance parts.

The car has a large dent (repairable) on the front passenger side corner. The car is not an accident repair vehicle. This dent is the reason why the car is so affordable given the low km’s and excellent mechanical quality. Other minor flaws include scratches on each corner of the bumper and there are some very minor pin dents on the passenger side quarter panel. All is normal wear and tear, very minor. On the bottom of the passenger side skirt, there are some scratches too. There is also a missing exhaust chrome tip. This will be replaced upon arrival in Edmonton.

Interior’s in clean condition in keeping with the car’s genuine mileage. There are no flaws at all to report here, except some typical wear to the gear lever’s gaiter. Stereo is not included with the car as the previous owner took it out before sale. Japanese radio’s do not work in Canada anyway, so a North American aftermarket example can be installed by the owner.

The car drives perfectly and there is nothing to report in this department. Engine has strong pull through the entire power band and is in excellent health.
